This is a smooth, creamy lotion that has both lavender essential oil and Magnesium Chloride to help with rest and relaxation.😴 I'm using 12.5% concentration of Magnesium Chloride. You can apply this liberally with no worries of "too much". You do not need to worry about absorbing too much magnesium via topical application. That can occur from oral routes. This product is made with Magnesium Chloride flakes combined with distilled water to form a brine which is added to our already creamy, smooth lotion. Many of you know that Episome Salt is Magnesium Sulfate. Both are indeed magnesium sources. Magnesium chloride is generally considered to be more readily absorbed by the body than magnesium sulfate thus why it is preferred for topical lotion applications.
